Swedish kings’ road

A new unusual excursion appeared in Leningradskaya area “Swedish kings’ road”. Kings’ road in XV century started on Russian territory near Nienshanz fortress, passed through territory of modern Shuvalovo-Ozerki and Primorskoe highway, connecting Swedish fortresses. All historical events on Karelskiy neck during centuries happened around this territory – from Novgorod republic to Winter war.

Program of two-day tour includes the repetition of Swedish kings’ road – visit to the residence of Otto Kuusinen’s government and the only acting Lutheran church, built by Joseph Stenbeck, mansion house Mariyoki not far from Serovo. You will have an opportunity to visit fort’s battery Ino in Privetinskoe, grounded in honor of Russian army temple of St. Nikolas the Miracle-Worker and museum of local history in Koyvisto (Primorsk), situated in Lutheran church, which used to visit Russian tsar Nicolay II.

In Viborg for travellers is organized a review excursion around the city, to Viborgskiy palace and park Monrepo. The last district of the first excursion day “Kings’ roads” is settlement Torfyanovka, where a group will stay for the night. On the next day it is planned to visit fortress Korela (Priosersk). Rout will be finished by Tiverskoe ancient settlement.
